Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time, in-office Automation & SMS Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing text messaging automation efforts using Go High Level (GHL). The ideal candidate has experience in CRM automation, marketing copywriting, workflow design, data analysis, reporting, API integrations, and leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance automation and messaging strategies.
This is a collaborative position—you will work closely with other marketing team members, operations, and customer service to align automation strategies with company goals. Extreme attention to detail is critical, as small errors in automation or messaging can impact customer experience and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate SMS Communication – Build, refine, and maintain text messaging workflows within Go High Level to engage customers at key touchpoints (e.g., appointment confirmations, follow-ups, promotions).
- Craft Effective SMS Marketing Copy – Write clear, concise, and compelling text messages that drive customer engagement, increase response rates, and align with the company’s brand voice.
- Workflow Creation & Optimization – Design, test, and implement automated workflows that streamline customer interactions, reduce manual workload, and improve efficiency.
- CRM & Software Management – Maintain data integrity, segment audiences, and ensure automation sequences are personalized and relevant across platforms.
- Data Collection & Analysis – Gather, organize, and analyze data from SMS campaigns, customer interactions, and automation workflows to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Weekly Reporting – Generate and deliver reports on SMS performance, automation efficiency, customer engagement metrics, and workflow effectiveness.
- A/B Testing & Performance Analysis – Monitor automation effectiveness, track key metrics, and continuously refine messaging and sequences for improved performance.
- AI & Emerging Technology Integration – Stay at the forefront of automation by leveraging AI tools to optimize SMS workflows, enhance personalization, and improve efficiency.
- Integration & Troubleshooting – Work with other marketing tools, Zapier, and third-party integrations to ensure seamless communication between platforms.
- Enterprise Software Familiarity – Utilize tools like Monday.com for project tracking, Microsoft Office and Enterprise products, and ServiceTitan to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Compliance & Best Practices – Stay up to date with SMS compliance laws (TCPA, opt-ins, opt-outs) and best practices to maintain customer trust and deliverability.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with the marketing team, operations, and customer service teams to align automation strategies with business goals.
Qualifications
- Extreme attention to detail—small mistakes in automation or messaging can have significant consequences.
- Proven experience with Go High Level (GHL) or a similar marketing automation platform.
- Strong understanding of SMS automation, CRM management, and lead nurturing workflows.
- Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to craft engaging, conversion-driven messages within character limits.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimizing messaging strategies for maximum impact.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in data collection, performance tracking, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools for reporting and analysis.
- Experience with Zapier and automation tools to integrate different platforms.
- Awareness of and proficiency in evolving AI tools to enhance automation, content creation, and workflow optimization.
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Microsoft Office & Enterprise products, and ServiceTitan is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, in our Orem, UT office.
